About Chaitanyam Eye Care Institute ?

Kolhapur is a town which is known for its rich Spiritual and Cultural heritage but what the world does not know is the number of cataract and eye care cases that go unattended every year in rural India.

Seeing which our Team of Chaitanyam being a beacon of hope to hundreds who are in the dark has put a step forward in constructing and setting up a state of art Eye Care Institute with two distinctive features.

• We will have an Mobile Eye Clinic that will visit the rural villages adjoining Kolhapur with a Medical Team and provide them with treatment and refer them to our Institute for further medical examination and treatment, unlike our traditional way where we as a patient need to walk up to a hospital and seek medical assistance.
• This Chaintanyam Eye Care Institute, with all the facilities for eye checkup/screening, and Cataract surgery. All the services offered here are free of cost, this is a hospital without billing/cash counter

On 4th April, 2024, we inaugurated this project construction with Foundations Stone laying Ceremony attended by esteemed members and chief guests.

We plan and hope to see this Chaitanyam Eye Care Institute completely functional, providing Eye Care Facilities by this Year End.
